I’ve studied drumming with Senegalese master drummer Mbaye Diagne, playing for West African dance classes with him for a few years, and have accompanied a variety of workshops for more than 25 years. I have taught groups of beginner adults and children, and have worked in therapeutic contexts such as the Martinez Veterans Hospital, and Contra Costa Regional Medical Center. I am also a composer and have studied Classical Indian music.
